Age: 16

Martin Short, Drew Barrymore, and Stanley Kubrick have a little less hair, thanks to Leelee Sobieski. "It all started because I wanted to get an autograph, but I thought that wasn't so personal," says Sobieski, who requested a lock of hair from each of them. Sobieski, 16, survived her role as Sarah Hotchner in Deep Impact, last summer's meteoric hit, and then unleashed a penetrating performance in Merchant-Ivory's A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries. This year she stars in Fox 2000's Never Been Kissed as "queen of the nerds" and in the $25 million CBS mini-series Joan of Arc, about which she notes, "It's the first time that somebody who is a virgin will actually play Joan of Arc, queen of the virgins." She plays the daughter of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman in Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut, due out in July. She doesn't have a lock of Tom's hair - at least, not yet.
